Standards

RAJURI Fe550 bars are built to last. They are exceptionally strong, corrosion-resistant, and have excellent bending properties; giving them the strength to withstand enormous loads, earthquakes, and shakes.

Excellent Weld-ability

RAJURI Fe550 bars have a low carbon equivalent which gives them excellent weld-ability. This superior weld-ability ensures that the bars can be butt-welded or lap-welded using ordinary rutile-coated electrodes of matching strength. No pre-treatment or post-treatment is required thus saving time and construction cost.

High Seismic Resistance

Our products undergo rigorous testing at our research facilities. Repeated UTM and Bend/Re-bend tests are carried out to test the strength and flexibility.  UTS/YS ratio (Ultimate Tensile Strength and Yield Strength ratio) is maintained along with Percentage Elongation testing to ensure that Fe 550 bars can handle the load in earthquake-prone areas. With energy dissipation remaining near to constant during each test cycle, our bars have a proven superior compared to the competition.

The Steel consumption depends on the strength of the TMT Bar. The higher the strength, the lower will be the consumption.

Rajuri Fe550 bars are manufactured in a world-class state-of-the-art high-speed rolling mill ensuring excellent yield strength which exceeds the parameters specified in the BIS standard IS-1786 resulting in material saving of approx. 24% compared to the Fe 415 TMT manufactured by the secondary producers. Not only this when the quantity of steel consumption reduces you save on transportation cost, material handling cost, larger carpet area is achieved due to slimmer pillars and also reduces the overall time of construction.
