Job Summary

The Metallurgist for the Lab will be responsible for conducting metallurgical analysis, testing, and research to ensure the quality and performance of our TMT bars. This role involves performing laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and providing technical expertise to support production processes and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• • Conduct metallurgical tests and analyses on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished TMT bars.Perform mechanical testing, chemical analysis, microstructure examination, and hardness testing.
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues related to metallurgical properties and performance.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct metallurgical research to enhance product performance and durability.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies for metallurgical analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of metallurgical tests, analyses, and experiments.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction in metallurgical processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for metallurgical testing and analysis.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and practices in the laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles, processes, and testing methods.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and instrumentation for metallurgical analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
