Job Summary

The Rolling Mill Head will be responsible for managing the operations of the rolling mill to produce TMT bars. This role involves overseeing the entire production process, ensuring the quality and consistency of the products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• • Oversee the daily operations of the rolling mill to ensure efficient and effective production of TMT bars.
  • Develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
  • Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and operators.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the regular maintenance and repair of rolling mill equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues to prevent production delays.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to develop preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a rolling mill, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of TMT bar production processes and technologies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
